Sunset in Floride. WoW!

Hi folks!

It’s time for the next update. Actually during writing this we arrived in our hotel room in Wichita.

The last few days we spent our time in Miami Beach and Daytona Beach. During this time we visited Key West, the most southern point of the USA, and we also went to the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral for visiting the Space Museum and watching the launch of a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket for a supplying flight to the ISS. Although we stood quite a while away from the launch pad, the start was pretty amazing. All in all the mission was finished very quick, after 10 minutes the stage one of the rocket landed safely on the landing base and the mission was succeeded. In the museum the most impressing thing by far was the space shuttle Atlantis which was the last space shuttle to be in service. So all in all Miami was a truly amazing time and passed much to fast!

Last but not least some pretty good news! Based on the written report score the flight order for the competition was released today and we ranked on 15th of 80 possible places. YIPPIE! So the heading is correct now we hope for good weather conditions and a fair competition in the next few days.

Stay tuned,
